Amanda earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Prior to working as a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders, behavior and sleep management, and opening her private practice, Amanda trained at one of the major children’s hospitals in Boston. Amanda has always had a passion for working with children, but it was at that institution she developed her love of behavior and sleep management.

Our Inspiration

Amanda grew up on a big farm in the Midwest, so animals have always been a big part of her life.  In nursing school she was involved in several human-animal interaction research projects such as Puppies for Parole and Reading to Rosie.

During her time working with the animals and the individuals in those studies she discovered she could combine her love of animals and nursing to help her patients.

Our Vision

Amanda understands there is not one definitive way to treat a child. Utilizing animals, therapy, medication and patient/parent guidance she aims to utilize all the possibilities
